If you are looking to get plugged in with Calvary . . .

The best place to start is with our Life Groups (Sunday School). Our Life Groups meet on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. It is in our Life Groups that we get down to the business of being the living, breathing, loving Body of Christ. If you are married or single, are working or retired, have kids or not, we have a Life Group opportunity that is right for you. The more time you spend with other Christ-followers studying God’s word, the more equipped you will be to reflect Christ in your marriage, your family and your relationships.

Looking for a Church family?

If God is leading you to be a part of the family of faith known as Calvary, there are three ways to unite with this church.

1. Baptism - after receiving Jesus into your heart, the believer identifies with Jesus through the ordinance of baptism. Baptism is an outward testimony that you have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

2. By Transfer of Membership from another Baptist Church - a member in good standing of another congregation may unite with Calvary with a letter of recommendation from that previous church.

3. By Statement of Faith - someone is a member of a church in another denomination may unite with Calvary by a statement of faith that they have received Jesus into their life and have been biblically baptized by immersion.

At the end of every morning service, our pastor extends an invitation to those who need to make a decision, which includes uniting with this church. You may speak with him then.

What do you understand it takes for a person to go to heaven?

Here’s how the Bible answers that question . . .

F is for Forgiveness. We cannot have heaven and eternal life without God’s forgiveness. (Ephesians 1:7)

A is for Available. Forgiveness is available for all (John 3:16) but not automatic. (Matthew 7:21)

I is for Impossible. It is impossible for God to allow sin into heaven.

- Because of who He is: God is loving and just.
- Because of who we are: Every person is a sinner. (Romans 3:23) So how can a sinful person enter heaven, where God allows no sin?

T is for Turn. Turn means repent from sin and self. (Luke 13:3) Turn to someone; trust Christ only. (Romans 10:9)

H is for Heaven. Heaven is eternal life. (John 10:10)

How? How can a person have God’s forgiveness, heaven, eternal life, and Jesus as personal Savior and Lord? By trusting Jesus Christ and asking Him for forgiveness.
